​Wisconsin Total Economic Impact

​The Wisconsin Total Economic Impact was $20,928,707,038 in total business sales. 
​This number is up 21.2% from 2020 total business sales which totaled $17,267,115.  

Direct Visitor Spending totaled $9.8B in 2020, and increased by 31.1% in 2021 with $12.9B. 
State-wide seasonal employment rose 7.9% from 157,332 jobs in 2020 to 169,707 in 2021. 
Total labor income rose 12% from $5.1B in 2020 to $5.8B in 2021. 
State and Local Taxes rose 19.1% from $1.165B in 2020 to $1.388B in 2021.  

Sawyer County Total Economic Impact

​Sawyer County also saw significant increases in the economic impact.  

Total Business Sales increased 17.6% from $111M in 2020 to $131M in 2021. 

​Direct Visitor Spending increased 15.9% from $82.7M in 2020 to $95.9M in 2021. 
Seasonal Tourism employment increased 8.7% from 879 in 2020 to 956 in 2021. 
Total labor income increased 20.4% from $23.4M in 2020 to $28.2M in 2021
​State and Local Taxes increased 9.5% from $8.7M in 2020 to $9.6M in 2021.
