Exeland Wisconsin Restaurant is Cheffing Up Culinary Masterpieces

Exeland Wisconsin a quaint and charming town located in the northern part of Wisconsin. The area is surrounded by rolling hills and tranquil forests, which provide a peaceful atmosphere for plenty of outdoor activities. Southern Sawyer County residents enjoy a slower pace of life - one that is filled with neighborly gatherings and leisurely strolls through town.

Although the population is growing, it remains small enough to maintain its close-knit community feel. Life here is relaxed and slow-paced, allowing for plenty of time to appreciate the beauty of nature while still having access to modern amenities such as shopping and dining. Families love living in Exeland because it provides an ideal balance between city life and rural charm.

Here, you will find the Buckhorn Bar, a 2700 square foot space with full-service bar complete with 11 barstools, 4 pub height tables, and 16 seats, then a massive dining room that seats just under 100 guests at one time.

Kristi and Josh Olsen purchased the turnkey property and opened the doors Memorial Day weekend of 2020. In the first month, Josh met people from 20 different states - just to illustrate the driveby variety of costumes they receive on a regular basis.

The Buckhorn Bar is best known for its amazing food. Josh and Kristi smoke their own meats, make their own pickles, the sauces are all made inhouse with fresh ingredients, and go as far as cutting their own onion tanglers. On the menu you can find Prime Rib, Hand Carved Tenderloin, their popular Pulled Pork Nachos, House Smoked Baby Back Ribs, and let’s not forget that Wisconsin tradition - Friday Night Fish Fry. If you’re 21 and older, don’t forget to get a Wisconsin dietary staple, Brandy Old Fashioned. Whatever your flavor, you cannot seem to go wrong as everything is homemade.

The Buckhorn Bar is located directly on the ATV and snowmobile access trails making it easy to stop in for a drink, grab dinner and recharge the batteries before you blaze the trails again.

The Buckhorn Bar is located just 12 miles south of Radisson Wisconsin on Hwy 40, hang a right on Hwy 48 and you cannot miss it. Birchwood Wisconsin is just 18 miles from the Buckhorn Bar on Hwy 48. If you’re coming from the south, the Buckhorn Bar is just 21 miles north of Bruce Wisconsin.
