Becky Jo's 'Red, White & Blue' Tour

Radisson WI - The 'Red, White and Blue' Tour is a new event hosted by Hooties Hauler, organized by Becky Ewert-Suzan.  Also known as, "Becky Jo's Red, White & Blue Tour" will be a schedule tavern tour highlighting eight (8) establishments that proudly display the Pabts Blue Ribbon sign.

Becky Jos idea for her Red White & Blue Tour stemmed from childhood memories of her parents business “Doorn’s Place” that was located in Exeland, Wisconsin.  The family business was in operation from 1966-1973 and the Pabst sign stood high above their gas pumps right out front.  Doorn’s place was a small hometown beer bar with gas and light groceries.  Fast forward to 2014 - Becky and husband Stacy Suzan open their own small hometown bar that filled Radisson, Wisconsin with an absolutely amazing establishment to visit until 2017.

History of Pabts Blue Ribbon

Since 1844, Pabst has been privileged to create and build iconic brands with deep ties to America’s heritage. The 'Red, White & Blue Tour' is paying homage to 175 years of brewing history while having a great time with great people, in these great establishments.  In 1882, the company was branded as "Best Select" beer and wrapped blue ribbons around the necks of their beer bottles. In 1889, Best Select changed the name to Pabts Brewing Company.  In 1899, Pabts officially changed the name to Pabts Blue Ribbon and added the red stripe to the label.  In 2017, Pabts returns to Milwaukee where it all started and made its home in a 144 year old church where today its known as the Pabts Brewing Complex.  Steeped in 175 years of rich history, these Pabts Blue Ribbon signs are few and far between.  Today, Pabts has been rebranded and targeted towards Millenial beer drinkers that enjoy the crisp and refreshing taste of a fairly priced locally brewed beer.
